Oregon Governor Declines Response To Medical Inquiry On Facemasks

Registered nurse Cathy Geibel, R.N. of Oregon sent the following letter to 60-year-old Oregon Governor 'Kate' Brown regarding the efficacy of the statewide face mask orders, but has received no response. This is reposted here with her permission.

"To the office of Governor Brown: I am a registered nurse of 40 years and I can be silent no longer. I ADAMANTLY OPPOSE mandatory mask wearing and continued lockdowns and restrictions in businesses, schools, churches, and services for the underprivileged, underserved and homeless.

As far as these ridiculous masks go I must ask WHERE IS THE TRAINING? WHERE IS THE TEACHING OF MASK HYGIENE? AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ... WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE? Today I witnessed individuals with disgusting dirty damp masks which, if they were to be cultured, would no doubt test positive for Strep, Staph, MRSA, eColi bacteria as well as fungi and virus. I do not fear the unmasked, I fear the MASKED!! Already facial fungal infections are becoming seen as well as secondary bacterial and fungal non-COVID lung infections. WHERE are THOSE statistics?

As far as coronavirus running rampant? Coronavirus (common cold) or COVID? Two different animals. There are reports of double and triple counting statistics. And of the GREATEST importance is despite the number of 'cases' increasing with INCREASED testing the DEATH RATES ARE PLUMMETING which means guess what? Herd immunity!!!

And do NOT quote from the WHO or CDC corrupt entities. There is a reason we are pulling out of the WHO, and the CDC is a private corporation that takes private money. Not to mention they have contradicted their numbers and statistics so many times I have whiplash!! The science? Whose science? There are as many truthful studies and information out there contradicting the common narrative as there are agenda driven propaganda spiel. PROVE ME WRONG. If you would like, I can hook you up with the common sense side to this fiasco.

So in conclusion, it has become VERY apparent this is a politics driven agenda that is causing untold harm in the communities across this state and nation. I reference rising suicide rates, emotional trauma, psychological damage; it will take DECADES to heal the trauma to our children not to mention the economy."
