A blatant propaganda piece published by Bloomberg entitled America is getting behind the mask" falsely claims,
"Most major retailers, including Wal-Mart and Target, as well as airlines like Southwest, American and Delta, are now requiring masks. Exceptions aren't honored."
This is a blatant lie. Remember, Wal-Mart states on their own website:
"We know it may not be possible for everyone to wear a face covering. Our associates will be trained on those exceptions to help reduce friction for the shopper and make the process as easy as possible for everyone."
Furthermore , the Wal-Mart memo to their 'mask ambassadors' early explains in great detail that exceptions are allowed:

We have tried out the exemption rule several times successfully and documented it on video. Be sure to see our recent videos Entry Into Wal-mart Without A Mask (Videos) and Day 2: Going Into Wal-Mart Without A Mask, Nebraska.
Just 3 days ago The Daily Mail published the truth about retail mask policy in a story titled Face mask U-turn: Walmart, Home Depot, Walgreens and CVS are among stores saying they WILL serve customers who don’t wear masks despite announcing face coverings were mandatory.
Similarly, Yahoo news published 'Walmart Employees Will Not Turn Away Customers Who Refuse to Wear a Face Mask.'
Any information about the planet fitness mandate coming Aug 1st? The sign at mine says masks must be worn at all times in the gym and no medical exemptions.ReplyDelete
What state are you in? Ill look into it, thanks .Delete
CA can not refuse patrons without a mask, newsoms rules on gyms specifically states such.
I'm going to have to break down and find out if the rules have relaxed at the three Walmarts where I shop (AZ, Surprise, El Mirage and Peoria) - have held off even checking as two sisters were unable two weeks a go to get into the Walmart on Indian School Road in Phoenix, and a relative in CA said everyone in his Walmart was wearing masks. Every bite of food came from the Walmart! Haven't shopped at Walmart even once since the mask requirement kicked in going on three months now. Haven't had a slice of bread, a salad, a piece of fruit, and a bunch of other things in that time, subsisting on Amazon deliveries of Amy's re-fried beans and soups. Looking so forward to this mask mandate ending!ReplyDelete
