Governor Cuomo of NY tweeted a video of the clownish 'Bill Nye,' an actor who dresses up in a white lab coat and bowtie, pretending to be a scientist. In reality he has nothing more than a bachelor's degree. He created the nerdy scientist persona during his failed attempt at stand-up comedy. More on that below.
While attempting to shill for the pro-mask oligarchs, Nye is so dumb that he declares a claim that face masks protect the wearer from coronavirus- something that the CDC, WHO and all others constantly refute. The pro-mask establishment claims that masks only protect others from a potentially 'asymptomatic' covid19 patient infecting them. Nye couldn't even get their talking point right.

On one of Nye’s Reddit posts a few years ago, an astute critic pointed out:
"The facts show you have no formal science education beyond a Bachelors in mechanical engineering from Cornell. That's it. Not even a Masters degree, let alone a Doctorate. You literally have no formal science education beyond an undergraduate degree. The facts also show that the whole "Science Guy" persona emerged out of a stand-up comedy routine you used to perform on local public-access TV back in the 80's.
You've spent years parading around in a lab coat, even after your Disney series ended.. parading around in a way which makes most people, particularly children, think that you're qualified to speak on matters you have no formal experience, education, or training on. For all intents and purposes, you're a talented actor-comedian with an opinion who inserts himself into public dialogue...and that's about it. "
National Post penned a 2018 article titled Why Bill Nye keeps getting bashed for not being a scientist.
And here's what's been referred to as a 'cringe-worthy' clip of Nye with Tucker Carlson.
