Klickitat County Washington Sheriff Bob Songer Calls Governor Inslee An "Idiot," and on his website, declares "No crisis should ever violate a citizen’s liberty or God-given rights under our US Constitution or Washington State Constitution."

Here's the clip where he calls Inslee an idiot:

Sheriff Songer’s Statement Regarding Governor Inslee’s Proclamation

Governor Inslee’s orders pertaining to public gatherings or businesses operating in violation of his orders in my opinion is a violation of our citizens’ constitutional rights under the First Amendment, Second Amendment, and other Amendments of the US Constitution and Washington State Constitution.

Not allowing citizens to attend church or firearm dealers to conduct business is a violation of the First Amendment and the Second Amendment, but the Governor has no problem allowing marijuana shops to stay open for business.

As Sheriff I will uphold our citizens’ constitutional rights and liberties and will NOT ENFORCE Governor Inslee’s COVID-19 Proclamation Orders on public gatherings and non-essential businesses.

No crisis should ever violate a citizen’s liberty or God-given rights under our US Constitution or Washington State Constitution.

  6. Seems like a nice peace-keeper and I agree with some of his statements that law cannot be suspended or revoked (without due -process of law) but the constitution is his job description and he swore an oath to uphold ..statutes and guidance memos and agency opinions and legislative bills and state codes and all the other stuff-made-up cannot be used to suspend my rights even temporarily.... they are for public servants and merchants...not law for we the people. Our law does not come from the federal or state constitutions ...Our law is common law, fundamental law- natural law- laws of nature that come from God and shall not be infringed. See Magna Carta, maxims of law, Virginia declaration of rights, bill of rights, etc etc and case-law is not law-of-the-land if it doesn’t uphold the law as referenced in the before mentioned sources Also see Peterson vs. Peterson ...Idaho code is not law”

    1. No. He is to uphold the constitutio . That's it. He has no necessity to carry out unlawful "orders", "guidance" or anything that comes from the Governo . Hell, I'd probably tell the Governor to f himself, if in his position

  7. ummmmm, it says to wear a mask, not your underwear over your head. LOL!
I had to stay at home for over a month when I had Mono. It's the polite thing to do.
I also have the right to have sex with whoever I want, but what about the 3 viruses I have because of an auto-immune condition, is that okay to give to everyone? My brother-in-law from NY came to visit just as this was beginning and gave us Covid. Was that okay? He was a carrier and did not even know it, so now, I have a blood vessel problem where my legs are spontaniously bruising in weird long lines of over 6 inches long and can now barely walk, meanwhile, he never even got a tiny bit sick. I don't blame him and he feels awful about it, which is a natural reaction from a kind human being. My nephew, a special needs person, has been in the ICU for 62 weeks and was just now able to see his mother, six people I knew have died from Covid, and my sister-in-law's family has three people with it, one is only a child. At first I thought this was a "Wag the Dog" thing because of it being voting season, but now.....now, I'm just sick of everything! I'm sick of wearing a mask~ I can't breathe because of my Lupus...I'm sick of angry people, I'm sick of washing my hands and smelling like Lysol ...I'm sick of take-out and wondering if Goodwill is going to close on me, as it's provides me with something more affordable for someone who is disabled and 85% deaf.....but, like a marriage, some things just become a piece of paper that we signed, when an unusual circumstance happens and common sense must kick in. I don't like it, but, I don't want to die....just yet. Just like when I was taking care of my doctor friend at the hospital and the nurses put up a "Do not enter" sign, literally, right after I walked out! He had Staph.....and I asked the nurses... "Ummmm....don't I have something to worry about??!" They said said . No, no, you're fine...." well, 2 years later I tested positive for Lupus!! I can't say for sure if it came from an unchecked infection, but my life is forever altered...and I would think someone would want to prevent that just out of civility and politeness. Stay well out there, folks, even if you disagree with everything I say...stay well and safe!

    1. I don't care what it says. As Governor he literally cannot enforce and unenforceable law. That is FACT.

    2. Hysterical Deaf Woman, there is no way you can be sure you got it from your brother. Remember, it's so contagious, anyone could have given it to you supposedly. Yeah, hysterical and metaphorically deaf not a great thing.

  9. In the "old days" in ALL the films and in Life, thru two World Wars, when Our Nation was faced with a Crisis, Our local and National Leaders stepped up to Protect it's Citizenry and solve the Problem. Now, the Main Problem is OUR Local leaders. Governors and Mayors and City Councils "Hell Bent" on Subjugating and implementing Seditious decrees on the populace to promote the Problem instead of eliminate it!

  10. Thank ;you Sheriff Songer! It is encouraging to me and the thousands of other patriots in Washington when a man of your status stands strong for our Constitution, and the Constitution of our sate. I know that you are going to take a lot of heat from the Lefties, but know that thousands of us will be praying for your safety. May the Lord give you the strength and courage to stand firm during these evil time. God bless you and keep you.

  11. The Governor is an executive, not a lawmaker; therefore, he cannot mandate the wearing of face masks. If it's in the RCW's or local ordinance, then it's law. Sheriffs have the authority to countermand gubernatorial proclamations, so it's nice to see guys like Songer actually doing their job. We need to see more of this statewide.
